  • Photos in event albums.
  • Attachments such as images, PDFs, videos, or other supported file types.
  • File URLs, object-storage keys, public links, and thumbnail-related metadata needed to upload, store, and display your content.

2.4 Device and technical information

To support functionality, compatibility, security, and troubleshooting, we may collect:

  • Platform type, such as iOS, Android, or Web.
  • Device identifiers where available, or browser environment information on the Web.
  • Device model, operating system version, app version, and build number.
  • Necessary logs, timestamps, network request results, and error information.

2.5 Security and anti-abuse data

The current version of the App may use:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile for human verification before certain sensitive flows such as login, verification-code requests, or password reset.

2.6 Local storage and caching

To maintain sessions, improve performance, and support sharing flows, we may store data locally on your device, including:

  • Access tokens and refresh tokens.
  • Preferences, recent records, drafts, and temporary app state.
  • Image cache, file cache, and temporary shared map data.
  • In iOS Share Extension flows, locally shared data used to pass map links and preview images between the extension and the main app.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Create, save, sync, edit, publish, and display invitations and related content.
  • Support collaboration, comments, attachments, albums, and RSVP workflows.
  • Upload, compress, distribute, and render images, videos, and attachments.
  • Import places shared from map apps and display the related location information.
  • Authenticate users, maintain sessions, protect accounts, and prevent abuse or automated misuse.
  • Improve features, monitor performance, and support compatibility.
  • Respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.

4. What We Do Not Intentionally Collect

  • We do not continuously collect your precise GPS location in the background.
  • We do not access your contacts.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

If you voluntarily provide location details, RSVP contact details, photos, videos, attachments, or other content through the App, that information will be processed as part of the service.

5. Device Permissions

Depending on the features you use, the App may request:

  • Camera access, to capture avatars, invitation images, or background media.
  • Microphone or audio-recording access, to record audio while creating background videos.
  • Photo-library or media access, to choose avatars, photos, videos, or attachments.

If you deny a permission, certain related features may not work.

6. Storage, Transfer, and Sharing

6.1 Storage

  • Account information, invitation data, member data, comments, RSVP data, and media references may be stored on developer-controlled or developer-contracted cloud services.
  • Uploaded images, videos, and attachments may be stored in object-storage services and made available through public or controlled links.
  • Local cache and session tokens are stored on your device; mobile builds may use more secure local storage mechanisms for token storage.

6.2 Third-party service providers

We may share necessary information with categories of providers such as:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile, for human verification and abuse prevention.
  • Cloudflare R2 or similar object-storage providers, for storing uploaded media and files.
  • Apple or Google link-distribution infrastructure, for app-link routing or system-level integration.
  • Other cloud, logging, security, or infrastructure providers needed to operate the service.

We share information only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the service.

6.3 Visibility to other users

Depending on the product design, your settings, and how you share an invitation, invitees, members, collaborators, or page visitors may be able to see:

  • Invitation title, time, location, introduction, schedule, cover, background, and share links.
  • Member lists, avatars, and limited identity-related profile details.
  • Albums, attachments, comments, and RSVP-related information or summaries.

You should decide carefully what is suitable for public, limited, or member-only visibility.

7. Cross-Border Transfer

Because the App may rely on cloud hosting, object storage, or verification services that operate outside your jurisdiction, your information may be transferred to, processed in, or stored in other countries or regions. We take reasonable steps to require appropriate safeguards where applicable.

8. Retention

  • We generally retain account, invitation, and related interaction data for as long as your account remains active and the data is needed to provide the service.
  • When you delete invitations, media, attachments, or your account, we will delete or anonymize the relevant data within a reasonable period, although residual data may remain temporarily in backups or logs until normal rotation completes.
  • Temporary local sharing data is generally retained only briefly and is removed after processing or cleanup.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as:

  • HTTPS for data transmission.
  • Protected local storage for sensitive tokens where supported.
  • Verification, permission controls, and minimization practices to reduce security risk.

No internet service, device, or storage environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law and available product settings, you may be able to:

  • Access and update your profile information.
  • Revoke camera, microphone, photo-library, or similar permissions in system settings.
  • Delete invitations, photos, attachments, comments, or other content you submitted.
  • Log out or request account deletion where that functionality is available.
  • Contact the developer at contact@twistinvite.com regarding access, correction, deletion, or other privacy-related requests.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users below the minimum age permitted by applicable law. If a minor uses the App, they should do so only with parental or guardian consent and supervision. Guardians may contact the developer to request deletion of a minor's data where appropriate.

12. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date and may provide notice through the App, release notes, store listing, or other appropriate means.

13. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or data handling, contact the developer at contact@twistinvite.com.
